stock photo management software

Well I am needing a better way to organize and catalog both my current
files and the film and digital files to come. Current method is just
overloaded and too awkward and time consuming.

Would like recommendations on either database software that can do the
job, or photo specific software. Would I have in mind would be geared
more to stock work, but not looking just for online catalog type
stuff. Most of the work won't ever be online.
