I want to get a t-shirt printed up with a digital photo, much like
they do at Photobox and Jessops. However, I want it to fit a toddler,
about 14 months old (perhaps a bit more, I'll have to ask!). The sites
I've seen seem to either have babysuits (too small) or kids t-shirts
that are 4 or so years plus. A few other sites, I seem to have to
register before I can see exactly what sizes are available which seems
a pain if chances are they won't have the right size!

So does anyone know of any online stores that will do a printed
toddler's t-shirt, preferably in the UK? Thanks very much.

Funny you should ask. I just did that a few weeks ago for my grandson.

Get a white garment of the proper size. Figure what size the image
should be. Print using an inkjet printer onto the special transfer paper
(note you will need to flip the image before printing or you will end up
with a mirror image) and follow the instructions on the package of transfer
materials and iron on the image.

Good Luck,

The only problem with these transfer sheets is they don't stand up to
repeated machine washes. The photo emulsion slowly granulates and drops
off. Also there is no 'background' to them, so printing on a darker
coloured T-shirt is impossible.
I've no idea how permanent the commercial printers are.

Cheers. I've done the iron-on route before and it wasn't so ideal
compared to a 'real' one. However, the t-shirt doesn't need to last
really, so I suppose it will be my only option. It does seem like
no-one does toddler t-shirts!

Thanks
