What is the current opinion on the best software for publishing photos
with thumbnails to the web? Something basic yet "professsional" with
no Flash animation. Template based. Preferrably free or cheap and not
CS which I do not own.

Thanks fpr any pointers.

Hi David

Take a look at Express Thumbnail Creator. It's not freeware, but very
easy to use and powerful at the same time. It comes packed with 30
stunning built-in templates:

Hello David,

Just stumbled over a nice photo gallery software with flash animation -
Flash Album Studio. It's not to show your photos with thumbnails, but
it features many cool and fun flash templates - all you need is to add
your photos. I think it is do worthwhile to chech it out their dazzling
samples:

Enjoy.
