Hi

I have a D200 and use a SB600 speedlight. I don't use the flash alot
but recently when I do it flashes twice before the shutter reacts
which means it is impossible to capture the shot due to the double
flash delay.

It used to be fine and I've tried resetting it to default settings but
no improvement. I've looked at the D200 settings and can't find
anything amiss.

I's be grateful if someone could let me know where i'm going wrong.

Thanks

Yip I would also check on the `red eye reduction` setting.

There is a huge difference between ignorance and stupidity; one can be
corrected by information, the other can't. No need to feel stupid; just
feel better informed.
