On my new computer, Windows XP, I can't print with the Kodak programme when
selecting the Kodak brands of paper in the One touch enabled.
Get an error message,
Internal error, please restart your system and try again.
still does not work after doing that.
Have been to Kodak site and got latest upgrade of S/w and drivers for my
Epson Stylus C84, even then when still getting same error running the s/w
repair did not help.

I can print when switching off the One touch and useing 'other paper' and
not the Kodak grade one I'm actually useing. Anyone had this and solved it?
Would like to choose the Kodak brand I'm useing rather the general paper
types listed on the Epson Properties.

Hi David,

Sorry to hear about the trouble you are having printing.

I wonder if you have the latest driver from Epson for your printer?
Kodak brings in most all printers made currently and tests them for the
One Touch feature. The continue this with the latest drivers as well.
So, if you are not getting good results, you may want to give that a
try. As far as I can tell the last update to the driver was on 1/6/2006
(Kodak would not have that driver tested yet) and before that on
9/05/2005 (should be OK).

Once you have done this and are sure you have the right driver in place,
have you used the Printer Setup feature and secured a good image for
printing in the EasyShare Software? Let me know your status. if you
have not yet had more information.

Talk to you soon, David.

Have been to the one touch driver update and done it.
But still get the error,
"Internal error please restart your system and try again"
Haveing done that same error appears.
Going to Options and turning off One Touch allows me to select the type of
Kodak paper, results of printing OK.
Results of printing with Other and setting the Epson (Stylus C84) choice
look OK as well.

The new driver you mention being tested when will that be available?
I'm not a computer expert, can I read in my computer somewhere the date of
the driver in it to check if your 2005 driver really in, and when the 2006
arrives?

Thanks for your help.

PS Anyone ealse had my problem and how was it solved for you?
