hello all,

In the process of selling my FujiFilm S1 pro ( I have a Nikon D70,
hence the reason). I was keeping the S1 as a spare ( so I don't have
to changes lenses) but really rarely used.

Anyone has a fari market price for a S1 pro. The camera is in
excellent shape.

Why don't you check on ebay for what price your camera is selling for?
That will tell you what you can reasonably expect.

I have seen them with a buy it now price of over $1,000 with a lens, really
the lens must have been worth $900.

The Gray Market - After all those posts about gray market repairs for Nikon, I began to wonder which other brands had a significant gray market presence in the US. I've heard Canon mentioned, although Canon's official importer apparently does offer support to gray..

why major brands got out of the market? - Seems a lot of brands/manufacturers have gotten out of the digital camera market. Some made cameras, but no longer do; Others still do, but no one sells them, such as Casio, Polaroid, and Ricoh. Here is a partial list: AGFA, Contax, Epson, JVC,..

Gray market repairs - I found out today that Nikon WILL fix my gray market D200, but they will not do it under warranty. I though they wouldn't touch it at all. Still, good to know.
