I have a new f11 camera and I downloaded the first batch of photographs
successfully.
It happened as the book said automatically as soon as I turned the camera
on.
The results really pleased me but the next batch nothing happened but I got
a message saying a high speed USB device is plugged
into a non high speed connection.
Since I used the same connection the first time why does it not work the
second time?

Are you using an early version of WinXP? Microsoft *forgot* to put USB2
drivers into the earliest version (SP2 has them)

XP does seems pretty clunky at the best of times (I also use a Mac,
which seems to be far more stable). Try ejecting the card reader and
plugging in again, if no joy, restart the PC and try again.

Yes I do use an earlier version of XP. So far I have avoided SP" because of
the stories of problems.
This may be the answer. I will have to bite the bullet and go fro SP2
