hi all,

i've bought olympus C-770 ultra zoom, so far its good qualtiy camera
wiht custom setting on Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority, and Manual
exposure modes. The picture quality is also impressing, but the only
thing is that its battery dried out very quick.....even i fot the
additional L12C batteries, but the uptime is quite short...are there
any ways to conserve the battery charge or other alternative
batteries....

Also, make sure Full Time Autofocus is switched off

hi paul
i tried switching off the rear screen, but it didnt help much...when
using the flash few clicks and it gone !
if i off the flash..it has more time before dried out..... anyhow

is it true, that disabling autofocus saves battery ? would try it out,
so i just use the manual focus......

actually i have done the cycle of charging and discharging only around
5 times.....hmmm should give it a try Smile
