Archived from groups: rec>photo>digital (more info?)

Hallo,
I have digicam Olympus C5060WZ, this camera was bought in USA 1,5 year
ago, it has only USA warranty and I live in Ireland, so no warranty for me.

I have problem with zoom lever, it stucks in wide position, i can use
it but everytime I move lever to wide position I have to manualy move
it back into neutral (middle) position.

Is that any know issue?
Can I repair it on my own?

Olympus UK, estimated costs at level 150Euro, it's about half of camera
value.

Thanks for any help.
Regards,
Bancrete
