I bought one.

Hello you all,

I went ahead and got the K100D my Pentax today. Also got the 18-55, and
50-200mm lenses.

I decided on this one over the other I was looking at due on part to,
build quality, weight, the fact that I can use pretty much all the
Pentax lenses that I can get a hold of, and that when the IST D 10 MP
camera comes out next year, all my gear will work with that camera as
well. And I have used Pentax in the past, and liked them very well.

I thank you all for you aid in answering my digital question. Like I
said, I did a lot of film years ago, but digital is still a new area for
me. So thank for the help.

Hi Rob,

I took my 6070th photo this weekend with my DS, bought it in Dec 2004, still
going strong but I am still hanging out for the 10MP (K10D?). If it has
improved focusing and IS and a big bigger buffer I will certainly be getting
one.
