Is it possible to watermark a batch of photos using photoshop or image-ready
*without* writing a script?

Alternately, is there a free app that can add a watermark to a batch of
photos?

By watermark, I mean a visible overlay on the photo, like the one often seen
on ebay, not the digital invisible kind.

In ImageMagick, you can do this as a one-liner, without a script, but
you do have to *type.* Smile

Depends on what you mean by "writing a script" - if you record a
Photoshop action when you do it on one image, all you have to do is
then use that action in the Automate menu on entire folders at a time.
