advice on di-assembling canon digital camera or source of ..

Appreciate advice

I have a canon ixus 40 with a stuck lens and the e18 error. I have tried
lightly and fully charging camera but to no luck.

I have the tools available to take camera apart to fix the jammed arm and
free up lens

I would like to source the repair/service manual or photos or some good tips
on taking camera apart. ( eg any hidden screws and the order )
