I scanned about 2000 images from 35mm film negatives. About 50% of
those have yellow-orange spots and lines on them, apparently due to
the film's bad storage conditions. They can be removed with Adobe
Photoshop's healing tool, but I'm looking for a faster way to do this.
Any Photoshop expert advice will be greatly appreciated.

thanks

Does your scanner have Digital Ice? Should take care of all but the
worst of them. If the scanner doesn't have DI then you may want to get
one that does. Polaroid has and anti dust program but it softens the
image and only works with the smallest specks.

Yes, my scanner does have Digital Ice (I have an Epson 4490). I have
Digital Ice always on, which does a very good job with dust, but
doesn't seem to be doing anything to correct the yellow spots.
