What program seems to be best for using a web cam? I understand there is
Yahoo Messenger and Windows MSN, but found there are times when the pics
freeze.
Would that be, my computer, the ISP connection or the program I am
trying to use?
Is this the best group for my query?
Any comment please
Thanks
Mac

On the rare occasions when I use my iSight, iChat is the software of
choice.

On the other hand if you want to learn of ways to use your webcam to stitch
high-resolution panoramas, learn of frame-stacking methods for astrophotography
purposes (webcams can be excellent for this purpose), or more advanced and
creative uses of webcams for photography needs, then some people here might
offer helpful advice.

Just be warned that this newsgroup, like all others, it too is infested with
packs of resident-trolls who only live out a virtual life, pretending to be what
they are not and pretending to know what they do not. Only your own experience
in real life will be able to help with filtering out any fact from their
never-ending tomes of incessant noise and BS.
