One easy way is to make waterslide decals. This paper is now
available in 8.5 x 11 size. The regular paper must be used with a
laser printer or copier. They make so-called inkjet decal paper, but
few of us have been able to make it work well.
I do have a cheap monochrome printer for black decals, but for color I
print out on regular paper and take it to my copy shop for copying
with a laser copier. At least I USED to. The shop bought new high
speed copy machines that have a real hot platen that wrinkles the
paper and jams the machine. Looking for another shop now with a
slower copier
