Before you start get hold of a voltmeter and check the batteries, also clean
the battery contacts (on the battery and in the camera) with an eraser
(pencil type). If you open the camera keep your hands away from the flash
capacitor (large gray or black tubular component) and flash tube. If you
open it use a rubber mat or a cardboard box and keep track of the components
you dismount. Flexible PCB's are very fragile, most of the time locking
connectors are used on one side, to disconnect slide the locking slider
towards the cable.
