Ricoh Caplio R6 Firmware

Hello

I have just acquired a Ricoh Caplio R6. There is a feature on it that
allows for interval shots, but it is only in 5 second intervals, the
minimum being 5 seconds.

Is it possible to re-programme this somehow?

The R5 can select any interval from 5 seconds to 3 hours, albeit in 5
second steps. It's not possible for the user to change this, unless they
reprogram the firmware (not a task for the normal user).
