Richoh RDC 4200 Dead?

Hi All,

My old trusty Richoh Camera has started to play up.

1. First of all there was no picture in the camera mode just a grey screen.
2. Then on powering down the lens cover would not close properly
3. Then the on powering up the AF light would stay on.
4. Now it does not power up with the AC adaptor or batteries.


As last a resort before I consign it to digital camera heaven, does
anyone know if this camera has a way of reseting it?

Buy an RDC-5300 on eBay for about $50.00. Excellent camera. Wonderful
macro capability. 9-element, all-glass lens with THREE aspherical surfaces.
Was a prosumer model when it was introduced in 2000 at a price of $700.00.

I have three of them.
