Post subject: Resolution and Dynamic R. of D1x v.s S3
Archived from groups: rec>photo>digital (more info?)

I have read in some reviews that Nikon D1x camera can operate as 10
mega pixel camera by using Interpolation, however it's really a 5.34 mp
camera. On the other hand I have read the resolution of Fujifilm S3 Pro
that have a 12.3 mp sensor is like a 8 mp sensor. I know very well the
reason of these differences but I can't make a decision that which
camera can produce a better (more detailed) picture for me in highest
resolution!
Would you please tell me in real work what camera is better from the
point of resolution?
Please guide me about Dynamic range of Nikon D1x in comparison with
Fujifilm S3 Pro too.
Sincerely yours.
