Lots of large memory cards. High initial count provides more useful
final count.

There's the ticket. Just take lots of pictures and hope there will be
something decent in there.

I would say high skill level and good photography results in more useful
final count. Just adding more junk is not the way to a good final product.

OK I come from a time when we used 4X5's for weddings and you did not
waste that expensive film. The boss also did not accept poor quality or
lack of results. You don't need quantity if you have quality.

Note: doubling up group shoots is generally a good idea as someone will
always close their eyes, or scratch their nose.

Amateur photographers are like people who see a magician do a trick and
ask, "How do you do that?" They really don't want to know. Many amateur
photographers are the same way.

It looks like he died earlier this year. I didn't know that. But I'd
recommend just about anybody doing professional wedding seminars with
the exception of Chuckie Lewis.

Huh, for some reason I thought you were in the UK. Oops. Guess not.

That's too bad about the job. Good luck finding a new one. January
starts the new wedding season if you want to jump back into it.

Nope...on the coast of Washington state.

I haven't photographed a wedding since 1995 and have no desire to start
again. Since going digital in 2003, I haven't done portraiture of any
kind (but I do still have the lights and all of the other "stuff").
