Problem Printing Pix From Palm Zire 72

Hi,

My nephew has a Palm Zire 72 with a built-in 1.2 MP camera. He uses the
camera as a notebook, knowing that the pix are low-res.When I visited
him, I put the Palm's SD card into my H-P 385 portable printer, and
printed some of his images at 4 x 6".

Four of them were reasonably good, considering the 1.2 MP. However, many
of them printed as grossly pixelated, as though digitally zoomed to 10x;
even though the fuzzy images were in proper size. There was no
connection with time of day, lighting, beginning or middle or end of the
chip's ca. 475 images, etc.. My printer works flawlessly with other SD
and CF cards both before and after this episode.

Can anyone please advise me what the problem might be, and its solution.
My nephew and I would be quite grateful for any help. We are
especially concerned as to whether it is a Palm unit problem.
