But...my DVD is a standard, i.e. not a HD, player which means it will output
720x480 max. I'm thinking that means 1920x1080 slide images will be
downsized to the native DVD res. by ProShow Gold. Yet anamorphic DVDs look
great on my set, so there must be something I'm missing in order to get nice
sharp slideshows.

ProShow Gold Problem - Looking for good easy-to-use slideshow software (for DVD's), I downloaded the 15-day trial version of ProShow Gold. This evening, I made my first DVD. Although the software was very easy to use, I find that the slideshow audio cuts in and out when..

what camera - composite output auto-focus - I'm looking for a camera for some research - iris recognition, so I need high resolution pictures from short distance, and as I mentioned in title - composite output and auto-focus. Any suggestion? rgrds Jacek
