Can you attach the circular polarizer filter to the lens and then put the hood on and use the hood to adjust the filter or with this being "Petal" shape ho...

Anybody holding a Cokin or Lee Filter holder on a slim pol.. - I currently use Cokin P series with my Canon EF 16-35 L lens. Yes, I do get a most annoying vignetting between 16 and 21 mm. I just tested the Lee filter holder (with all 3 slots on), with the wide angle ring and I still get a little bit of vignetting..

Can't focus with Polarizer - I attached a Promaster polarizer to my 80-200 zoom at 200mm. I'm not able to obtain clear focus. I can even see this in the viewfinder. I have never seen a filter impact image quality this way! What brand do you recommend? John

Which skylight filter? - I am fairly new to Digital SLR and have just got Canon 350D. I need a protection filter for the 58mm lens. I plan to get a circular polorizer later. Will a simple glass filter do for the lens protection? Are Hoya filters good enough?

Wratten 87c filter - Hi all, Where can I buy a Wratten 87c 3x3 gelatin filter? I tried B&H but I got a snotty person who hung up on me. Thanks.
