Sorry, I should have added "low cost". I am only thinking about replacing my
home printer and printing some panos for framing on my walls.

I've seen great looking panos from several of the Epson wide-carraige printers, up to 44" long. The Stylus 2400 (though not inexpensive) does a very nice job and handles 13" wide media, I think. Don't know where you're from, but in the UK there's an excellent online service called photobox.co.uk which does great panoramic prints at reasonable prices.
