I have a Kodak Printer Dock 6000 that is about 5 years old, and has
worked great for me thru the years. Yesterday, as I was printing
pictures, I started to notice a distinct "blotchiness" to the prints.
I say "blotchy" because they are like spots, but irregular shaped
ones. They are all over the pictures.... the color of the blotches
depends on where in the picture they appear. On dark areas, they
appear purple, on green areas, they appear medium blue, on yellow they
appear as faint yellow to almost white blotches. I have run the
cleaning tool thru the printer, and have also put in another new
cartridge. I DID notice that the first print to come out after
putting in a new cartridge looked GREAT .. printed the same picture
later and it was full of these splotches.
Anybody else see this problem? As old as this is, it's probably not
worth sending back for repair. I'll probably just get a new Series 3
printer instead.
Inputs greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
