Same here. I get on really well with HP printers.

I had Epsons before and did have problems with the ink jets clogging up and
also the ink didn't last very long. Ironically enough, I bought my first HP
printer when Dell ran out of stock of Epsons and have stuck with HP ever
since.

I have a Canon pixma iP 4300, for my photos, documents and autocad
drawings;and a Lexmark F4270 all-in-one for scanner, facsimile and
photocopier (and I have very limited space, too). The canon is very
economical for documents, because it has a bulk black tank.I had 2 times
clogged heads on the lexmark, bought new cartrtidge, good as new.No problems
sofar with the canon. No jams on either of them:-)
Just my 2 cents.....

I hear you but I chose not to support a business that utilizes devious

I'd recommend getting two printers. Get yourself a monochrome laser - I
use a Brother and it's very fast - and the print is waterproof.

As for colour, I'd advise against Epson as the print head is not
removable and is also famous for clogging. Clearing that is by forcing
it's very expensive ink through the head. Canon make excellent printers.
