My LCD just flashes when in viewfinder mode. It works fine when in

Your choice is to just use the optical finder or spring for a new
camera. Not worth cost of fixing.

Contact Canon and describe the problem. It might be a recognized fault

Opening a Powershot A70 - Dear NG, Ok, i wanted to check what is wrong with the CCD sensor of my Camera (Canon Powershot A70) and I therefore opened it (I do have experience opening and repairing electrical equipments, but I never opened a digital camera). Now though, somehow..

Is there a backorder problem with Powershot S3? - I've had an order in for two weeks, called today and they say the backorder wait is still 2 to 4 weeks. Am I getting the runaround because of the price ($309 +$15 S&H)? Thanks.
