Yeah, good enough to eat, right? LOL!

After one year of living here I'm still amazed by the rich culture and art
here. Even the street and city signs are works of art:

What few people know, is that Portugal is one of the oldest countries of
Europe; it dates back to around the year 1000.
And it has the oldest, original border of all European countries.

I think it was a reference to that Scottish couple that had their
baby kidnapped - Madeleine? Wasn't that in Portugal? You don't
need to speak "Down Under", just keep up with world news? Smile

That was the biggest cover-up I ever seen.
Read this:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Madeleine_McCann#Criticism_of_the_parents

From the beginning I felt the parents had something to do with it.
The girl cried for 75 minutes until the parents finally came.

When they became suspects, they ran back to England, where they are safely
guarded by their mighty politician friends.

What parents leave their babies alone in a hotel, don't use the babysitter
service, leave the doors open (can not be checked!) and "wait" 2 hours (!)
to finally call the police?
I'm a parent myself and if my child was missing, I wouldn't wait 5 minutes
if I didn't see her around the place.

And what's with the world travel? Come on! The father even went to America
for "support" or whatever, finding more politician as friends. Wouldn't you
be looking in Portugal for your child? Unless you already *know* what
happened...

It doesn't take a genius to figure out what happened....

Some accident maybe?

THINK!

the funny thing is: in the 15 years I've been a parent of two,
not once have they been left alone anywhere, be it in the country
where we live or anywhere else for that matter. Not once!

Even if it meant skipping dinner with friends and other such
niceties of social life.

And I don't know of any parents in our situation who have
done such. It comes with the territory of being a
responsible parent.

Which these two have clearly proven not to be.

Notwithstanding the enormity of the crime of whoever
abducted this poor child, of course.
