Hi!
I would like to share my digital photos within a group but I'm not able
to find a website that allows you to create a community group where to
share photos with unlimited storage. Any ideas?
Thanks!

Yahoo Photos seems to have unlimited uploads. The downside is photos
are displayed rather small.

I will try that. AOL Pictures seems to have unlimited storage as well.
The problem is that I think those sites don't let you to create groups
so that any member can access a single website to get all photos
instead of looking up user by user.

Yes but there is limited storage unless you own a premium account on
Flickr.

It's not the storage that's limited with a free account on Flikr, it's
the amount you can upload per month (limited to 20mb). Download
bandwidth and total storage is unlimited. Also, you cannot easily
retrieve the original size picture with a free account (size is
limited to 1024 on the longest side).

Flickr allows private groups, you allow whoever * you want to see the
photos, you can make the group invisible.

Windows Live Messenger (free from Microsoft.com) gives two
ways to do this. You can have Web space n "Spaces{, or you
can set up a shared folder. I imagine there is some limit
on the space you can have.

The software has many other features, including video and
audio conferences, and instant messaging.

Just get one of the paid site like pbase.com or something. They will be
worth your while if you plan to have a lot of pictures...

If you have webspace available (many cable and DSL providers allow a fair bit of
space for their customers) there are a number of different web-based galleries
you can set up yourself.

Check out http://gallery.sourceforge.net

It's good value though in my opinion. The free account limits you to
seeing the last 200 images, the paid for account is unlimited storage,
but not upload, it's not very restrictive though.

The fun comes with sharing your images by taging them with lots of other
people. I don't think you can expect ths level of service for free, I am
happy to pay.

take a look at
www.photochimper.com
I'd also say www.photography-cafe.com but they've just had a rather nasty
server crash.. work is ongoing to rebuild the site though.. so they may be
worth a look in the future..

It's cheap enough. You only need to pay if you want to be able to
show more than 200 images at a time.

I've come by a website www.multiply.com which is very nice! Unlimited
storage at original quality. Unfortunately you have to download photos
one by one and there is no mailing list for groups.
