Lens recommendation - I have a Canon 28-135 mm lens that I'm using on a 350D. It's an OK lens but I'm having some wobble near the glass and rather than have it fixed I would like to get a new lens. Any on similar telephoto lenses?

Post subject: Photo Magazine Recommendation
Archived from groups: rec>photo>digital (more info?)

I bought an excellent magazine over the weekend called Digital Photo.
It is exactly what I have been looking for. It shows techniques (step
by step inside the magazine and on a CD-ROM) for performing many
digital photography functions with your camera and photoshop. As an
amateur photographer, it keeps it simple enough to follow through on
many advanced looking projects.

The only problem with the magazine is that it is printed in England
and is very expensive for a subscription. I haven't found any U.S.
magazines that are quite like this. Can anyone recommend any magazines
that focus on showing step by step instructions for creating beautiful
looking prints? Please don't mention the basic photography magazines
that have one section in their magazine for this purpose. I'm looking
for something where the majority of the magazine is focused on step by
step instructions with examples, and possibly a CD-ROM. I have a hard
time believing that there aren't any U.S. magazines that have jumped
onto the bandwagon.

Thanks.

Steven
