Can you please tell me where I can get more information about the privacy
issues you posted about below? I have a teenage daughter, and I would like
to know more about this phenomenon, partucularly how it relates to
Tennessee, where I live. I tried several Google searches, but did not have
enough info to conduct a narrow enough search.

Thanks for responding. Knowing that her TN comment was just some petty jab
at another poster eases my mind. Too bad she couldn't have responded
herself, but that is apparently not her style. She seems far too preoccupied
with making anti-Canon posts, and ironically posting links to her gawdawful
pics she claims are taken with a high-dollar Nikon. A 1000mm lens assembly
to take pics of turtles? I could have done better with the 18-55mm kit lens
that came with my D80.
And for the record, I am not anti-Canon. I seriously considered getting a
Rebel XTi before finally deciding on the Nikon, due largely to the
couldn't-pass-it-up price I got from Adorama.com >> Stay informed about: PING: Rita Berkowitz |

*Morphing* troll? I've been posting with this nym for about 3 years, albeit
not in the photo groups. Go ahead and Google it if you don't believe me.
I've been know to troll on a few occasions, and while the cheap shot about
your skills was below the belt, I was a bit pissed off that you refused to
respond to my query regarding the alleged privacy violation in Tennessee,
particularly since it raised some serious concern for me personally.
I have only been lurking in this group for a couple months, and was unaware
of any long-running conflict between you and another poster. Thanks again to
Savageduck for clarifying something that was *your* deal, and should have
been *your* responsibility. But I guess taking the time to explain your
statement would have taken time from your anti-Canon pursuits, eh? Shame
that you put so much time into hating Canons and those who use them rather
than putting that time & energy into enjoying your Nikon. I know I enjoy
mine, and I couldn't care less what other people shoot with. >> Stay informed about: PING: Rita Berkowitz |

Rita was referring to Bret Douglas (annika1980) who has a propensity
for taking photos of school age children of both sexes and posting the
results on the Internet for all to criticize, make fun of make and
post lurid suggestion about and generally behave like idiots behind a
public toilet. He also last year posted photos of his neighbors
bedroom (with them in it) taken in the evening with a telephoto lens -
a spy camera.
The same person also has a habit of downloading photos other people's
children which he keeps for his own pleasure or use against the OP at
some time in the future. Tennessee has some strange laws when it comes
to pornography and smut dealers. I'm unsure if the state has any
enforcible privacy laws but if it does, they can't be used very much
if this fellow can continue his disgusting behavior unchecked... Well
until now at any rate. >> Stay informed about: PING: Rita Berkowitz |

Thanks Cryptopix. Nice to know that some in this group can address the
concerns of others in a reasonable manner. Kudos to you and Savageduck. >> Stay informed about: PING: Rita Berkowitz |

Hey, D-mac the quack is back. How many different identities do you have ???
Aren't you the expert when it comes to taking photos of children ??? I think
you are confusing Bret with yourself. >> Stay informed about: PING: Rita Berkowitz |
