Greetings Nemo,

If you want to get the latest version of Quicktime, just go to the
Quicktime program and, if you can, open it. In the program under the
'help' tab/option will be an update feature. Update it from there. Once
it is updated, you should be able to run your movies. Also, if I recall
correctly, there is an Uninstall feature in the system that will let you
uninstall the software by going to the Quicktime listing from the Start
option of Windows. Have you given these a try?

Talk to you later.

I agree. Also, I had to get rid of other freeware because of running
system restore a few times to get my computer back to normal.(such as
Spybot and Microsoft spyware program)This seemed to corrupt their files
as well. I will reinstall these after I make sure everything is running
as it should. (My computer had slowed down to a crawl after all the
other things I had done to it. ) Everything seems to be "normal " now.
regards.
