Olympus C-5000 Zoom ?

I have a Olympus C-5000 Zoom 5.0 Megapixels. In playback mode or Quick View
mode the camera shows a ton of file information for a few seconds on each
picture. Does anyone know how to turn this off so it scrolls just the
pictures.

I cannot tell you *exactly* how to do this, since my C-5000 now has a
broken LCD screen (I still use it for snaps), but I had to do it at
one time with this camera.

When you find the "playback mode" menu, I think the first item will be
"INFO" and you can set it to "OFF". This is the default mode, so if
you just reset everything to default that should work too.
