I bought the above model camera six months ago. For its physical size I
find it good camera but it has for me one major draw back, my
reflection in the view finder when trying to take outside shots. I have
been through the manual and have carried out all the alterations I
think there are to improve the view but at this moment i am terribly
dissapointed. Taking photos indoors is a breeze but outside I can't see
a thing. Is there anyway to improve the image.

I don't think that camera has a viewfinder; it has an LCD that sort of
acts like a viewfinder.
And you're noticing one of the drawbacks of cameras without real
viewfinders (optical or EVF). The sun can affect how well that LCD
appears.
I have a Limix FX01, without a viewfinder, and the sun does affect the
LCD, but I can still see well enough to frame.

Nothing shows in view finder - I'm an amateur at this so maybe its really nothing . . . I have a Minolta Dimage 7Hi that is about 5 years old. It has always work fine until recently. Now all I can see in the view-finder or on the LCD screen is a light blue screen? I have changed..
