Max looks frisky, attractive shot. Question for you. If the MKIII is
recording in one of it's native file formats why not post it on your
site as such with all of the exif data for all to enjoy?

Why do you guys insist on making your cats (and other pets) suffer in that
kind of heat? Why don't you live here in Oregon where the cool Pacific
breezes keep it nice and livable all year?

Every three years of so I pack up and drive East just to remind myself
how lucky I am....It usually doesn't take more than a day or so before I am
suffering in 100 degree heat and 90% humidity.

But...a day after your drive starts, aren't you still in Wyoming or
something?

I don't quite understand the fuzz you are making about the
camera. Yes, the 1D Mk III surely is a good camera. Yes, we
all know you use Nikon optics.

So what? Any SLR could have done that shot.

But why in all the hells name do you use
<p align="center"><img
src="http://www.geocities.com/ritaberk2007/pics/Max_Limb.jpg"
width="512" height="341"></p>
forcing the browser to rescale the image?

It does waste a lot of space --- a simple
$ convert Max_Limb.jpg -resize 512x341 -quality 50 \
-unsharp 1.5x1.3+1.5+0.02 Max_Limb-small.jpg
reduces the size from 253kB to 36kB --- to a mere 14% of the
original --- and looks better, since it's sharpened correctly.

Yeah....Even Eastern Oregon is pretty bad.....You really have to be within
50 or 60 miles of the Pacific ocean in order to get the nice weather....The
chief way to tell is how cool and nice it gets shortly after sundown.....Its
a rare heat when it stays hot all night....Maybe three or four nights a year
it is like that......

Actually, it is damn near impossible to have 100° temps with 90%
humidity, but I get your point.

I guess that's why you don't see too many fat Iraqis.
I'd go thru about 5 robes a day.

It is only about 93° here today and it feels damn-near pleasant, like
a cool Spring day.

2-part case for DSLR? - Carrying cases for SLRs are/were often in two parts: the front part could be removed for shooting, and the back/lower part stayed on to protect the camera. I have a D70 and would like to have such a protective case for it. I've looked at the Nikon..
