My photo looks good on the monitor but has a slightly black look overall on

It's probably a color management problem.

In the print module, Color Management panel, the "Managed by Printer" option
doesn't work.

You must select the correct printer/paper profile instead of "Managed by
Printer".

If you have that selected correctly, then your monitor may need calibration.
