Interesting, I thought the D300 and the new Leica shared essentially
the same APS sensor.

nikon sensor cleaning - I sent my D50 off to Nikon to have the sensor cleaned. I got it back 19 days later. They had successfully removed the 6 spots of dirt. They also put 9 spots on a different part of the sensor. I sent it back to Nikon and they removed the 9 spots. ....
