Post subject: KODAK Easy Share Issues

Hey,

My girlfriend has a Kodak Easy Share C913 which she syncs to an HP laptop running under Windows XP.

When she first loaded the software, the information worked fine and the sync took place flawlessly.

However, we recently took a trip and she took a lot of pictures. She connected the camera via the USB cable and the camera was not found by the computer. When she opened the Easy Share software, it ran fine UNTIL she told the program to upload the pics from the camera to the computer. At that point, the program simply closed and made no effort to reopen. She tried to do the process again and, again, the program closed just before the upload.

She got frustrated with it and reinstalled the software, which worked successfully.. However, the program still responds in the same way: Windows doesn't recognize the camera in the My Computer section and the easy share program closes when the picture upload takes place.

Anybody out there have any suggestions?
