I am looking for a panoramic head that I can put on my tripod to use
with my "ultra compact" camera. I am far from being a professional
(as my camera might indicate) but I do like panoramics and would like
to improve my panoramics a bit (with out getting a huge/expensive SLR).
I am trying to find a fairly compact/basic panoramic head that will let
me make multilayer (like 2x8) panoramic photos. Any suggestions would
be greatly appreciated!

Cheers

-Gaiko

If you are looking for tripod jigs that adjust for nodal point the two
cheapest I have found are:

Panasoraus -http://gregwired.com/pano/Pano.htm
and
Nodal Ninja - http://www.nodalninja.com
