I'd recommend comparing them side-by-side at DPReview.
I've got a Canon IXUS 55 (aka SD450) and I'd say its biggest plus is
that it has an optical viewfinder. That gives the edge in bright
lighting conditions and holding the eyepiece against your forehead
reduces camera shake.
It is also listed as including a charger, although I'd be surprised if
the Casio didn't too.
The Canon is a great little slip-into-pocket-or-purse camera but I
really miss its not having the image stabiliser my main camera has
(Panasonic FZ30). I would consider foregoing the optical viewfinder for
the stabiliser included with most of the Panasonic range.
