HELP needed with ROXIO CREATIVE 9 locking-up

When I select EDIT VIDEO, I go to where my AVI files are located that
I want to ADD to the EDIT VIDEO option.
As soon as I highlight AVI file #1, the screen locks-up. The mouse
will move but I can't click anything or move anything.
This just started. Creator 9 has been working great for over a year.

Does anyone have any ideas?????

Unfortunately Roxio seems to make software which, while being very good
at burning stuff to disc (Toast etc) seem to have overextended
themselves with add-ons. My AVI converter in Toast will convert on odd
occasions but then refuse the next batch.

I assume you're using a Mac, if so, try Visual Hub

It works! Although you don't get the fancy menus Roxio promise (but
don't deliver) but you do get the AVI converted - it takes time though -
encoding is usually at 0.25x on my iMac (6h for a 90 minute file).
Use Toast to burn the disc.
