I think it's more the composition, with the eyes near the top edge and
the feet in the center, that make the feet the focal point.

Much nicer bokeh! One could almost be forgiven for thinking that you
are trying to trick us with a pic from your old Canon 500. Wink

A serious critique.... I would like to see a little more sharpness on
the face, as the foot seems the sharpest part of the image and it
keeps drawing my attention. Perhaps a just a little more DOF would
have pulled it in.

I thought you were out falling down in the mud with your D3/500.

With or without religion, you would have good people doing
good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good
people to do evil things, that takes religion.

Can't you just post your photos without all the Nikon vs. Canon trolling?

At least Rita post a photo from time to time. We have far too many
people on this group who are willing to tell us all how great they are
and how good their photos are, but never seem to manage to post a
decent photo.

Well since you put it like that....... Yesterday the humble 350D with
standard 75-300 "kit" lens was sitting in the back-yard enjoying some
beers in the afternoon sun. All of a sudden, up pops the humble sparrow.
There were branches to the front, branches to the back, branches & sun
to the side, but the humble "kit" outfit did its best to overcome the
obstacles!

Sorry to break it to you kiddo, but you're failing miserably. All
you're really accomplishing is coming off as a boorish twat.
