The remote release [not included in the kit] plugs into a 2.5mm socket.
Does anyone know if this is just an unpowered switch? I'd like to make a
long extension lead but do not wish to mess up the electronics!
Any advice would be appreciated.
I could of course buy a release then cut it and insert appropriate
wiring to extend it, but would prefer the DIY option.
