Hello,
I keep receiving the following error code 1638x17x2784544022x when
install Koday EasyShare v.6.01. I've installed MS Windows Installer
3.1, did a repair on WinXP, ran the Kodak removal tool and removed my
Logitech Web cam software. Still no luck.
The weird thing is I can install the Kodak camera connection , software
updater, and printer dock or photo printer software.
Any help would be appreciated.

install Koday EasyShare v.6.01. I've installed MS Windows Installer
3.1, did a repair on WinXP, ran the Kodak removal tool and removed my
Logitech Web cam software. Still no luck.
The weird thing is I can install the Kodak camera connection , software
updater, and printer dock or photo printer software.
Any help would be appreciated.

My EasyShareInstall.log file has these entries.
ISSCRIPT_VERSION = The InstallScript engine is missing from this
machine
ISSCRIPT_VERSION_OLD = The InstallScript engine on this machine is
older than the version required to run this setup.
Kodak suggested I try these commands..
msiexec /unreg
and then
msiexec /register
No luck... >> Stay informed about: Error installing Kodak Easyshare v.6.01 |

Kodak NotSoEasyshare software can be problematic during install
and upgrades. Follow the instructions for what to install first.
If you must use NotSoEasyshare then use the clean tool in safe mode.
Try the install again in the order Kodak recommends.
If this still doesn't work use the clean tools again in safe mode and
