Epson 1290 printer

Hello - I'm new to this - I have a 1290 - v nice - had it 2 yrs - v
pleased until this week - I am getting a sort of black ink smudge all
the way down the paper - it sems to be picking the ink up from the
rollers at the front of the printer - how do i clean it off - i can see
inks residue inb the black tray under the rollers

If memory serves that is the European version of the 1280 and I think
it's the one they refer to as having the"Pizza roller" wheels. If so
there are removal work-arounds. Try googling epson 1280 and pizza
roller.
