Hello Everyone! Editing Software ???

Hello. I am quite new to video editing and camcorders. I have recently
purchased a Sony DCR HC35 miniDV camcorder and have toyed around with
the pre-installed roxio MYDVD LE software as well as Nero Ultra edition
but would like to invest in a more dedicated package and hope to embark
on a new hobby. I am interested in Burning and DVD Creation, as well as
possibly sharing video clips with family via e-mail and over the
internet.

I have been reveiwing some software online and Abode Premier Elements 3
sounds pretty good. I have also looked at Pinnacle Studio 10 Plus and
Ulead Video Studio 10 Plus. Any guidance and advice around these
programs would be gratefuly received.

You are in a digital photography usenet group, digital video editing might
be the better place to ask. As far as I know you can download time limited
evaluation versions from Ulead's and Adobe's websites and then play around
with them, not so sure about Pinnacle.
