I googled this group and found nothing about this camera except in
foreign language sales lists. Just wondering if anyone has any
experience with it, and why no one seems enthusiastic about it.

I have researched EVF cameras, of which this is an example, for a recent
purchase I made. I opted for a Kodak P850. My reasons for preferring a 'P'
series camera to a 'Z' series include Image Stabilization and the ability
to save as 'raw' files - I believe these are the main differences - I'm
happy with the P850 so far, though I've not really had an opportunity to
use it much yet. I suggest you check out the Kodak online store for refurb
units - look at the prices of 'P' series cameras compared to the Z710.
