I'd recommend a USB card reader. Crucial.com has several inexpensive ones.

If you computer does not have an inbuilt card reader I suggest you go out
and buy one to attach to one of your USB ports.
When you insert the SD card into the reader you can use it like any hard
drive and just click and drag to your hard drive. From there you can load
the images into Photoshop.
This is the best way to do what you want.
You don't have to install Kodak Easyshare onto your computer at all.

And what do you want to know? If you put the card in a card reader, or
plug the USB cable into the computer, it will do the download automatically.

Greetings Geoff,

If you have Photoshop Elements it has a feature that will organize your
images, and you can select the Get Photos option and collect your images
from your camera.

If you have the big Brother program Photoshop then you can download the
images from your camera using XPs Scanners and Camera wizard. When you do,
you get a screen offering a choice of programs open the images on your
camera.

The easiest way to get your pictures would through a card reader. Just
remove the memory card in your camera and insert it into the reader. The
card will show up as a logical drive in the list of devices in My Computer.
Just open and drag them to where you want to save the images.

Of course, you can the EasyShare software which is a great way to get them
as well. Makes it 'easy' to 'share' tthem. Smile

Good luck, let me know if you think I can help.

You can download Google's free program Picasa2 and set up your computer to
automatically put your photos into it. Easy free and very helpful, though
it's a very limited picture editor. Rich
