Kodak DX4900 camera Repair?

I have a problem with a DX4900 where the plastic latch on the battery
compartment lid broke off. The cover won't stay closed so I've been
forced to tape it down in order to use the camera. My attempts to
search for a replacement cover online have been unsuccessful.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I might get it repaired?
Duct tape is far less elegant than a proper fix, but way cheaper! I'd
prefer elegance but if it's going to cost more than $75 or so to get it
fixed I'll live with the cheap option.
