My flash has recently stopped working. But if I use the camera to
record video the light does work. So it does not seem like a hardware
issue. Has anyone seen this before? I checked and there are no
firmwire updates for this camera. Is it possible to reflash the
existing firmware> (or to reset the camera back to the factory
settings). Please let me know what you think. Thank you.

Peter

Greetings Peter,

Sorry to hear that the camera is not working as hoped. Sounds like it
may be flash itself that is the culprit? Regardless, if you want to
test the camera for defaults, remove the batter from the camera for a
day or so, then replace it. This will set its defaults. If the flash
continues to not work, then I suggest calling Kodak for more on how to
get it serviced. 800 235-6325 Let me know what happens.

Talk to you soon, Peter,
